This full day course covers the basics of Drupal 8 from a non-code, site-builder perspective. The goals of this working include giving you the information you need to decide if Drupal is right for you, and teaching you all the steps to installing, getting up to speed, and learning the basics you need to know. 

Prerequisites: 

A laptop with Acquia Dev Desktop (or similar AMP stack) installed.

About the instructor: 

Michael Anello (@ultimike) is co-founder and vice president of DrupalEasy, a Drupal training and consulting firm based in Central Florida. Michael is the lead trainer and curriculum developer for DrupalEasy's Drupal Career Online (DCO) program, an intensive 12-week, online Drupal training program. The DCO has been presented 9 times, and its curriculum has been used as the basis for two sessions of Acquia U.

In addition, Michael is an active Drupal community member, volunteering for the Drupal Association community cultivation grants committee, the Drupal Community Working Group, and the Florida Drupal Users' Group. He can be heard on the twice-monthly DrupalEasy Podcast and is an Acquia Certified Developer and a Drupal 8 core contributor.
